My professional journey
Nice to meet you.
In 2014, I decided to become an independent executive (team) coach, specializing in leadership, executive presence, executive impact, and continuous change. In 2020, I co-founded The Team Coaching Global Alliance (www.teamcoaching.global), which provides top-tier training in the ICF Team Coaching Competencies. I actually helped develop these competencies as a subject matter expert within ICF. For many years, I’ve also been a Guest Professor at EMS Business School Brussels and a Visiting Professor at BSN Algeria for three years, teaching on leadership, HR, change, and coaching.
I earned my Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential in 2019 and my Advanced Certification in Team Coaching in 2022, both granted by the International Coaching Federation. Additionally, I obtained the Master Practitioner accreditation in 2022 from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Both ICF and EMCC uphold the highest standards in the coaching profession, and their Master credentials signify the pinnacle of coaching mastery.
Beyond my corporate and teaching commitments, I’m also active as an MCC Mentor Coach. In this role, I founded and manage Coaching Journeys (www.coachingjourneys.org), a rapidly growing worldwide community of coaches seeking their ICF credential.
I’ve been a dedicated volunteer for the International Coaching Federation for many years. My key contributions include:
- ICF Team Coaching Community of Practice Leader (2014-2019)
- Subject Matter Expert in ICF Global Task Forces since 2018, focusing on the development of new (team) coaching competencies, the training accreditation architecture, and ICF Governance.
- Member of the Global Professional Coaches Nominating Committee since 2019.
- ICF Credentialed PCC Portfolio Assessor since 2019.
- Founding Member of the ICF Thought Leadership Institute’s Global Co-Lab since 2023.
- ICF Independent Review Board Member since 2023.
- ICF MCC Portfolio Assessor since 2023.
- ICF MCC Assessor Community Co-Lead since 2024.

I have also written three books: one on coaching through political dynamics and continuous change (only available in Dutch) and two on the sustainable impact of coaching (e-book in English available).
Kracht vanuit Onmacht (Nl)
In “Kracht vanuit Onmacht” (Strength through Powerlessness), I write about how leaders can use coaching to be a source of strength to overcome feelings of powerlessness brought on by political dynamics and continuous change. It is an authentic, practical and personal account of going from powerless to strength.
Impact in actie (Nl)
In my second book, “Impact in Actie” co-authored by Jean-Claude Lecoyer, I share insights, strategies, practices and tools to make your impact sustainable. After thousands of hours of coaching, it became clear to me that there is a great need to increase the impact one has on relationships, colleagues, careers, teams, and organizations. At the core of this book is “leadership through conversations”.
